Call 999 if you see missing Bracknell teenager

Police searching for a missing girl from Bracknell are today (February 19) appealing for the public’s help in locating her. Tashanjit, who is 16 years old, was last seen in Bracknell at around 3.30pm on February 17.

She is known to frequent Slough and could have travelled to the Lambeth, Hammersmith and Fulham, Shepherds Bush or Wembley areas of London. She is an Asian female; around 5ft tall with a small build.

Detective Inspector Alice Broad said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Tashanjit, who has not been seen since Friday. We have been conducting enquiries to try and locate her, but these have not led to any sightings locally.

“I am now directly appealing to the public for help in locating her. If you see her, please call us on 999, and if you know of her whereabouts, you can report this via our dedicated missing persons’ portal, quoting reference number 43230074545.

“I would also appeal directly to Tashanjit. You are not in any trouble at all – but we are concerned for you. Please get in touch with us to let us know where you and that you are safe.”

Tashanjit has long black hair and was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and white trainers and was carrying a black rucksack. It’s possible she may have a mobile phone or small tablet device with her.
