Golf Clubs in Berkshire
There isn’t a more traditional sport in the UK than golf. It gives you the chance to have some alone time, play with your best friends or family. Berkshire golf courses meander through a backdrop of mature pines, beech and oak trees with water coming into play. The stunning courses roll across perfectly manicured fairways before you head into the tree lined sections.
Bearwood Lakes provides one of the most enjoyable golf experiences in the UK. Remarkable for a golf club founded in 1996 and already rated as the best inland course to be built for over 30 years, yet we manage to retain a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere alongside our inspiring golf course.
Originally designed by Peter Paxton, who was adept at using the natural water courses that flow on the land to guard the greens. From its origins as a heathland course, East Berkshire has matured into a tree lined course of great beauty.
The Berkshire is a traditional Members’ Club which warmly welcomes visiting golfers all year round to enjoy the beauty of its pine and heather lined courses, and to face the subtle challenges of Fowler’s superb traditional design.
