For poems up to 400 words.

1st Prize – £100
+ a poem video, professionally performed, produced and promoted.
2nd Prize – £75
3rd Prize – £50

Entry fee – £2 per poem

ABOUT THE JUDGE

Sarah Smith is a poet and spoken word artist based in Wokingham, Berkshire. Reading’s 2023 Dreading Slam Winner, a National Poetry Slam finalist, and BBC Radio Berkshire War of the Words champion, Sarah’s also performed at Jawdance London, 451 Southampton, Reading Literature Festival, Cookham Festival, Greenbelt Festival, Boomerang, Bookface, and the Big Untidy. Her spoken word show ‘Tracks’ premiered in 2019 and her debut pamphlet ‘Crackers’ is available through her website, www.wordsmith.org.uk.
